Couldn’t have hoped for better surf instructors. We had our first beginner lesson in Carrillo about 3 weeks ago and John and his partner were brilliant teachers. Very grateful & will recommend to anyone who visits CR.

Kelly offers a lovely yoga experience with classes each morning during the week. Always checking in with the people taking class, asking about energy levels and what we want out of class. Very peaceful and meditative classes. Kiera teaches on weekends and she’s also wonderful and very personalized and hands on with students. Hosting classes with locals and short term visitors might be challenging but they’ve got it covered at Chillasana:) I will miss it as I’m leaving Samara - but I hope to be back! Thanks Kelly and Kiera ‍♀️

My experience with yoga classes here has been nothing short of amazing. Kelly is incredibly kind, supportive, and a joy to share space with. Im not in regular practice, and was nervous about the 75 or 90 minutes. The classes fly by, and leave you wanting to return again and again. The beautiful space with AC is just an added bonus. I highly, highly recommend Chillasana ❤️

Love. Love. Love this place. Spent time years ago living in Costa Rica and was so blessed to have the opportunity to come here and find peace and tranquility. One of the best yoga studios I have been to. Kelly’s flow in teaching yoga makes you leaving the session wanting more. I should know, it’s been almost 12 years and I still crave for more. ❤️

Had the pleasure of taking a SUP adventure with John a few years back. Super professional, very safe and took us to all the great spots. Family run business with his wife Kelly who also runs an amazing Yoga program. If you’re in Costa Rica and want to ensure a good time in the water surfing/SUP’ing or on land doing Yoga on the beach, I’d highly recommend hitting them up. Looking forward to heading back with the kids soon!!

We had a private two person surfing lesson in Carrillo with John & Esteban & had a blast! It was a perfect method for us beginners - we had so much fun & even felt successful 🙂 We also stopped by the yoga studio & met Kelly who was lovely & helped us buy shirts 🙂 Thank you!
