Jazz Dance Studio

Grande Manuela Sirocchi.

Hidden in a pedestrian alley in downtown Parma, JDS offers three large dance studios with amazing old-fashioned wooden high-ceiling, full-figure mirrors, and all around barres. The reception, has a warm and cozy atmosphere: even the light bulbs are adorned with ballet tutu skirts. Manuela, Federica, Paolo, Roberta, Carlotta and most teachers, all top notch, are always supporting the dancers, regardless of age or skill level: whenever they need extra coaching, the teachers go in one of the studios between classes and review the movements needing correction or finesse. The teaching is super professional yet the mood is alway relaxed with a whole lot of laughing. My wife who is a professional dancer in Paris, France, stops here as a student every time she is in Italy, to receive and to provide inspiration to aspiring pro dancers. Thanks to the staff for providing these artists a creative space to learn, grow, become self confident, embrace discipline, fulfil dreams, be empowered and take risks in a safe and healthy environment!
